Making sense of a hostile culture

As the stridency of the secular medical culture becomes louder, it becomes increasingly difficult for Catholic physicians and nurses to maintain fidelity to the truth and remain in the common space of the public square. This piece, published today in Crisis magazine, is an example of the challenges we face while attempting to dialogue with an ideology that is not interested in dialogue. It has become apparent that our esteemed medical journals are not attempting to build consensus, nor are they particularly interested in representing the diverse views of their constituency. This is why it is so important to build communities of like-minded people, such as the Benedict Medicine Consortium!
